Paver patios, stone walls, and tile features that complete the deck.
Belgard, Techo-Bloc, and natural stone hardscapes installed to last.
Where the deck ends and the yard begins, hardscape ties it all together.

It extends the outdoor room.
A great deck deserves a great transition to the yard — paver walkways, a fire-pit patio, a stone wall around the planter, tile on the outdoor kitchen counter.
The right hardscape doubles the usable outdoor space and ties the whole project together visually.

Belgard, Techo-Bloc, Pavestone — proper base, proper drainage.
A paver patio is only as good as the base under it. We dig 6–10 inches below grade, lay woven geotextile, then 4–6 inches of crushed Class 6 base, compacted in lifts.
Skip those steps and your patio settles, heaves in winter, and grows weeds within two years.

Flagstone, bluestone, travertine.
Natural stone has a warmth and irregularity that manufactured pavers can't replicate. We source flagstone locally and ship in PA bluestone and Turkish travertine for premium projects.
Stone can be installed dry-laid for permeability or set in mortar over concrete for a tighter, lower-maintenance look.

Retaining and freestanding.
Modular block walls (Belgard Diamond Pro, Allan Block) work for grade retention up to about 4 feet. Above that we engineer with geogrid or move to poured concrete with stone veneer.
Freestanding seat walls, planter walls, and grill surrounds use the same systems.

Porcelain pavers and counter tile.
20mm porcelain pavers (Belgard Mirage, Atlas Concorde) give you the look of tile with the durability of pavers. They're freeze-thaw rated and work for patios, pool decks, and rooftop terraces.
We also do outdoor kitchen counters in porcelain slab or natural stone.

Where every drop of water goes.
We plan drainage before we plan layout. Slope toward swales, French drains where needed, and never trap water against the house.
On larger projects we install full subsurface drainage to dry wells or to grade.

Snow-melt systems under pavers and stone.
For walkways and stairs, electric or hydronic snow-melt systems make a Colorado winter dramatically more livable — no shoveling, no salt damage, no ice.
Best installed during construction. We coordinate the heating contractor.

The details that keep it tight for decades.
Plastic or aluminum edge restraints (Pave Edge, Snap Edge) keep pavers from spreading. Polymeric sand in the joints stops weeds and ants, holds water out, and stabilizes the surface.
We re-sand every paver job 24 hours after install once everything's settled.

What hardscape costs.
Standard concrete pavers installed: $18–$28 per sq ft. Premium pavers: $25–$40 per sq ft. Natural flagstone: $35–$55 per sq ft. Bluestone: $40–$65 per sq ft. Retaining walls: $50–$120 per face foot.
Snow-melt adds $20–$35 per sq ft on top.
A look at the craft.

Answers before you ask.
Don't see your question? Call us or schedule a free site visit and we'll walk through it on your deck.
Do pavers heave in Colorado winters?
Properly installed on a proper base, no. Cheap installs heave within two seasons.
Concrete or pavers?
Pavers cost more upfront but last 30+ years and repair board-by-board. Concrete cracks; pavers don't.
Can you tie this into my existing patio?
Almost always. We match material, color, and elevation.
Often built together.
